Today I had the pleasure of speaking at our local library.
I love herbs and hopefully inspired some gardeners to start a culinary herb garden.
Little starter pots of herbs can be kept from drying out under a little overturned canning jar.

Daylily Chores
When the lilies are in bloom, I dead head each evening.
It’s a quiet, peaceful garden chore that I rather enjoy.
In the morning I’m greeted with fresh looking plants ready to open more flowers for the day.

Waiting For First’s
The first little flower that will appear in my garden.
Soft lavender flowers on the Creeping Phlox.

Honeysuckle vines and pussy willows make wonderful twiggy wreaths.
