The peony beds are cleared and I can’t wait for the pretty, spicy flowers again.

Simply gorgeous photo, Stacey! I wish it was sitting on my table right now..can almost smell it!
I love the pink and white ones best! We transplanted these bushes from the front yard the first year we lived here, (it took forklift tines) they just started blooming well again the last 2 years. 🙂
A stunning image. I love peonies and really need to get a bush. Can they be transplanted in the spring?
Peonies would be lovely against your house. You can plant them anytime, but spring would be best. They are short lived, but so worth it.
If you have an area that they would have some wind protection, that would be good. I usually have to cut mine earlier than I would like, due to wind either coming or wind knocked them down. You can put rings around then though–I never think of it until it’s too late! 🙂
Deep in wedding plans Audrey!!!
Thanks, Stacey. Enjoy every minute of those wedding plans. I hope you will share with us here.
Great photo and I can smell the peony ❤
Love these old fashioned favorites! Thank you for visiting the garden!
Beautiful!
