Petting Zoo

This little baby bird was wandering the yard yesterday.

His little wing is injured and I couldn’t leave him to suffer.

His first night was in the greenhouse but it became quite warm today.

I moved him to the potting shed and gave him his own little nest from my collection.

A trip to the store for some mealy worms to feed him, I’m now squeezing in mama bird duties to my day.

Otto is so curious!

Tending The Garden

Tending The Garden

The Thyme is growing quickly and I love snipping some sprigs to take to the kitchen.

My garden apron is so handy with the garden a little messy from some light rain this week.

This was one of many aprons I sewed for Country Gardens Magazine.

I lost count of how many samples I sewed; I was rewarded with a nice selection of aprons to wear.
