The Garden Anchors

The lesson I have throughly learnt,

and wish to pass on to others,

is to know the enduring happiness

that the love of a garden gives.

Two days of sunshine and warm temperatures helped me make progress on the painting and staining of the greenhouse and Rabbit Run Cottage-potting shed.

So much more to do and finish, but waiting for spring to return. ┬áIt’s hard to paint in a winter coat and gloves!

I’m happy with the changes and can’t wait for the plants and flowers to fill in the canvas.

Mother Nature, let’s get this party started!

April brings warmer weather and lots of garden chores to get things rolling around here!

Off to search for a right and left garden glove!

Petting Zoo

This little baby bird was wandering the yard yesterday.

His little wing is injured and I couldn’t leave him to suffer.

His first night was in the greenhouse but it became quite warm today.

I moved him to the potting shed and gave him his own little nest from my collection.

A trip to the store for some mealy worms to feed him, I’m now squeezing in mama bird duties to my day.

Otto is so curious!

I love how this little cosmos bud photo bombed this image!
