This little baby bird was wandering the yard yesterday.
His little wing is injured and I couldn’t leave him to suffer.
His first night was in the greenhouse but it became quite warm today.
I moved him to the potting shed and gave him his own little nest from my collection.
A trip to the store for some mealy worms to feed him, I’m now squeezing in mama bird duties to my day.

We have become quite attached to our little birdie, now named Winston.
He know us and hops off his nest for his feedings.

He is quite a little eater! So far, doing well!
The little zoo consists of 4 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse, 1 mini donkey, and 5 chickens.
