A bright, sunny morning in the garden.
The orange Butterfly Bush is just starting to bloom,
it’s such a great pop of color in the garden.

I love these! I have tried to grow them from seed for the last five years with zero luck and had resigned myself to finding one in a nursery next year. Then, lo and behold, one of the mystery weeds in my wild flower bed opened up two days ago. I was shocked and had to double check it against a photo!
Do you know if they require any maintenance year to year?
I did start these from seed last 2 years ago. Only two survived. They did not seed themselves this year, so not sure if they will or not. I love the orange, as my gardens have a lot of pink and purple.
