I was wondering how your tomatoes taste this year…people have been complaining locally ours are not as tasty as they remember. Some taste better than others, but the black ones are not as flavorful this year. Just wondering.
So far I would say they are pretty flavorful. Just starting to get the larger varieties now. I didn’t plant as many as the past few years, but it looks like I will still have plenty to do some canning and I like to slow roast them and freeze them.
Will be doing my first batch of salsa tomorrow.
