Staff Meeting
The kitties came to check on the garden.
They like to lay down right were I’m weeding, and watch me work.

Rural Practicality
A recycled farm bucket makes a great container for some Lemon Thyme.
Found in the woods, a little coaxing back to shape and it’s perfect to hang on the garden fence.
Tending
The garden is growing quickly now.
Storms in the forecast for the next 4 days, with heavy rain.

Ring Toss
The back gate needed a little something.
Love that I can walk to the back woods, and for the price of 5 mosquito bites I can have a little wreath to hang on the garden fence.
Come Sail Away
I hinted a few days ago about an addition to the garden pond.
Sailboats!
Some scrap wood, old spindles for the mast, and vintage grain sack sails.
I think they look quite nice bobbing in the water.

I love when the Thyme starts to spill over the the garden beds.

The garden is slowly recovering, the water soaking in.

Cabin Fever
A stormy week around the garden.
Monday’s storm left us without power and tree limbs across power lines.
The heavy rains and hail have taken a toll on my sweet little garden.
I know things could be much worse, and after todays storms; tomorrow promises to be a sunshine filled Friday.
