Shocking Pink!
The celosia was a tough flower for me this year.
With nearly 50 little plants started in the greenhouse,
I struggled to get roots to form.
Once in the ground in The Pickery, I lost even more in the heat.
Only 10 or so flowers bloomed–but oh my…
Look at this shocking pink flower.

The sun came up on the changing fields this morning,
with fog drifting around our property.
I never tire of these kind of mornings.
I have been documenting all the different heirloom tomato varieties
with my camera this Summer.
It will be a good way to remember them when the snow is flying this Winter,
and I have my nose in the seed catalogs.
After my little photo shoot the other day,
I had this lovely plate sitting on the table.
The best, largest and prettiest crop of peppers I have ever grown!
