So adorable!
Can’t wait to see what you do…
(I want a Big Girl Playhouse, too! 😀 )
Lucy was 6 when we (I mean the husband) built this. Now, she is nearly 11, and it is a reading, art, and thinking spot for her. I have been slowly taking it over! All new paint inside and working on the perfect seating inside.
Can’t wait to show it to all of you.
impossibly beautiful! Like a gingerbread house from a fairy tale! I’m sure many happy hours have been spent just sitting there on the porch. Perfect 🙂
Many pretend meals were cooked in her little kitchen in the playhouse!
Now all the little girl stuff is gone! Can’t wait to show you the spruced up preteen/mom cottage!
That is so cute 🙂
We brought this with, when we moved here–and this was the start of the garden. The trailer dropped it into a yard of weeds and overgrown shrubs–and I knew I had a plan in my head! Can’t wait to show you the spruced up cottage and the inside too.
Looks so wonderful!
It is so nice to sneak in for a little sit down!
OMGosh, adorable! I don’t think it needs any refreshing – looks great already.
When I was little, my cousin had a lovely playhouse like this. Every time I visited, I thought she was the luckiest girl in the world. Love to see what you do to make it even more special.
The main color is staying the same, trim is changing a bit and I’m pondering a color change for the door? The porch ceiling is going to be painted light blue–much like all the porch ceilings out East! Can you see the East Coast influence? We had began work on the playhouse, then took a trip to Boston…when we came home I insisted on the cedar shake roof. It’s my little bit of New England. Now if only I could remodel my house to be a saltbox with barn attached! 🙂 Stacey
Totally New England.
