life in and around the garden
Love your chalkboard door – that came out great!
I would definitely love to sit and ponder in the cottage…it is so cute.
In it’s early days, it was painted bright colors inside! Lot’s of red accents! We had many plastic meals cooked in the play kitchen! Now it is serene and calm, with quilts, feedsack pillows, with books and art supplies.
Lucy did get photographed sitting on the porch reading a book–I do hope that makes the magazine. 🙂
My uncle who built furniture as a hobby built my cousin a similar little cottage. I was much younger and so envious of her beautiful play house. I think the way yours has evolved is wonderful.
That loft looks like a great place for a nap on a rainy day.
I keep some reading material in the cottage, so I can sit back and enjoy the shade and quiet!
I dream of somewhere like that on my allotment but regulations say no sheds. Oh well! I love the idea of retreating there when it’s raining. 🙂
Lucy watched a movie out there this morning, in her little loft on the laptop!
