What kind of paint did you use? And sealer?
Every time I try to make something like it, it flakes in a couple of months..
I used a black “paint” marker. They are oil base and seemed to hold up well to the elements.
As easy as using a pen, and no brush to clean up! Of coarse they come in a rainbow of colors! I pick mine up at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby–and of coarse use a coupon!
That’s what I call re-using at it’s best.
I found this old tool laying in our woods! With it’s broken handle it was no longer usable, but the tunnel shaped garden hoe is very interesting. Couldn’t part with it, so gave it a new life.
That is a cool idea. I love the aged-look in a garden, it gives it history and character.
Just a few touches here and there in the garden to add some interest!
Oh, I forgot — love your header image.
Thank you so much…working on that photography…! Means a lot that YOU noticed!
