Grateful for many things today.
The garden is the best spot to ponder all that.

Gardening tends to offer those opportunities for pondering, doesn’t it? What is the vessel on the right?
My “rain barrel” on the right is an old copper washing machine tub! Complete with faucet attached. When it rains, I remove the galvanized lid. The rain barrel has been full lately!
Gardening, taking leaves, even weeding for the simple sake if keeping things neat are my favorite activities, better than meditation to allow me to relax, and yes ponder things on my mind.
Life handed us one of those little blips yesterday–a little garden time to gather thoughts and mentally prepare. 🙂
Love getting your photos on my reader…there’s just something very peaceful and calming about them…Love your copper rain barrel and your watering cans. My daughter was just telling me how she loved the way water pours out of the watering can. She said it was stress relieving and we were laughing about that, but there may be some truth to it. We don’t have a watering can. I’ll just have to remedy that. 🙂
Yes, you should have a watering can! Thank for your very kind words. They are much appreciated. Stacey
Hope it helped, and you’re all ok…Thinking Peaceful Thoughts for you. 🙂
Thank you!
What a lovely rain barrel! I hope you found the peace you were seeking.
Thank you…:)
Love that greenhouse!
Thank you so much! 🙂 It’s a great place to tend and think!
What a wonderful little place to be, garden therapy is the best.
Yes, it is therapy!
A truly lovely greenhouse – I think anyone would find themselves hard-pressed to not to find peace in it. Did you design it yourself?
Kelly we did design it and build it with nearly 90% recycled materials!
Magical! All your treasures, sunshine and plants growing….you’re a lucky girl!
Yes, I have found myself feeling lucky–though hard work has brought us to this point in our lives. Early this Spring, when we had one of our first warm days–I was cleaning garden beds–the chickens were scratching, the ducks waddled by, and my dogs were napping near by.
I had one of those moments–like this is what I wished for and we made it happen moments.
This week starting with all of us a bit shaken here–but the ending is happy and we are so lucky to have sat together in the garden this morning. So lucky, I am!
