Repeat! Also, harvest the produce, cut the grass, deadhead flowers….summer is all-consuming!
Weed, weed, weed…isn’t that the truth! I’m home today, not at my workplace and indoor office–I can’t wait to get outdoors and at least do some watering. π You inspire me, Stacey! You really do!
There’s always plenty to do!
I think I:m getting the “weed, weed, weed”, part down. π
I had gotten lazy about the weeds in the brick path. They were fighting me and trying to take over.
I decided I was going to go get weed killer and be done with it–until I went to the store and saw the price of weed killer (not to mention the really bad stuff in it). Whoa, I came back to reality and with renewed strength to pull those weeds–chemical free and a lovely arm workout! π
There are some natural weed killer recipes on pinterest that I have always wanted to try, usually made with things you already have around.
You were actually going to buy weed killer??? Try spraying the area with vinegar or even pour salt in the cracks. I haven’t tried salt but vinegar I’m trying this year.
I know!! I was temporarily crazy! but, I did come to my senses!!! π I did try the vinegar last year, but did not have much success.
A pair of gloves and some good old fashioned weed pulling works the best for me!
Glad you came to your senses. π I would like some areas to be weed free, but I actually enjoy pulling weeds and find it soothing to play in the dirt. If I had no weeds what would I do? I know I’m a little off. π
I smiled when I read “trim the boxwoods” because it’s time for that here, too.
That is what I did yesterday, weed, weed, weed. π
