The first carrot harvest, freshly picked and washed off with the hose.
Can you smell the earthy sweetness?
Roasted with a touch of olive oil, we devoured a tray of these.

Wonderful and colorful!
Yum. In taste and color.
Hey, I just bought a bag of these rainbow carrots at the farmers market on Saturday. They also sold multi coloured cauliflower. Very cool.
AWESOME!!!
Unbelievably gorgeous!!! How do you do this?
Oh my goodness but these are gorgeous! I’ve never seen such an array of colors all from one garden. You are amazing, Stacey!
I was never a fan of carrots until I had one freshly grown. I loved them. I was finally able to grow my own this year!! Now that we harvested the first batch I planted another bed this past weekend for a fall harvest which I plan to freeze.
An impressive crop indeed!
I honestly think we grew the same varieties! Isn’t it just something to think about those little seeds that really you can’t even imagine taking root they are so delicate… growing and becoming these beauties. Every year it’s a miracle! Enjoy.
Love carrots in Europe, but not in America, too sulphur-y.
