I’ll celebrate Valentines Day with a week of red images!

How lovely.

I love, love, love radishes. I think I’m the only one in my family who does. These look wonderful. Makes me want to get out there and start planting. I used to plant peas the 14th of February. I don’t think that will be happening this year. I love this photo. Brightened my day!
I’ve delayed my planting here too….sub zero temps…I can’t possible heat the greenhouse warm enough!!!
🙂
It took me many years to try a radish but when I did I loved them. Last year I tried to grow them but the weather did not cooperate and what did grow were very hot not at all what I had hoped for. I’m going to try again this year.
Lois, try the French Breakfast….milder flavor…easy growing!!! 🙂
Thank you I will. I haven’t ordered my radish seeds yet so I will make a note of that to order the right variety.
O oui oui, very nice indeed. I really love them in my homemade potato salad. Adds a little kick.
Oh, yes–potato salad…yum!!!
We love radishes. I might try planting just a few in our greenhouse this year to get a few early ones.
I’ve never tried them in a tray, but would think they would grow pretty easy too….love when we bounce ideas around!!! 🙂
I’ve got some deep 2×4 planter boxes on wheels. I’ve got greens that over wintered and are starting to go again (or were before we had another cold spell). The one unfortunate aspect is when a rat gets in and digs up and eats seeds and/or produce. Ahhh… country life:)
