I was recently asked “How big is your garden”?
It sits on the North side of our home, meandering East to West.
It really is just about the right size!
A place to start and nurture my plants, a kitchen garden, Rabbit Run Cottage, and a few places to sit and relax.
Even when we lived in little apartments early in our married life, I gardened in little pots…that was the perfect size too!
Yes, you heard it here–size doesn’t matter!
Fun to see this perspective. Underneath all this snow, this is waiting to spring forth.
This angel always looks like the greenhouse is so far back there….
Happiness is feeling your garden is the right size for you – thanks for sharing!
I still sometimes can hardly believe we created the little space that was in my head for so many years. So glad to share it with garden friends.! π
When’s the last time you added to it? I find that I want to sneak in “just one more bed” each spring.
Nothing much has changed the last 2 years, due to the photo shoot with Country Gardens Magazine and last years weather.
This year some subtle changes are planned. First on the agenda is greenhouse and fence paint and stain. Not so much fun.
Beautifull!
Can’t wait!
Yes even in small pots on a patio you can grow many things to eat or just be a visual delight.. Your Garden looks amazing! π
Thank you Sue! π
That’s a great view
π I sit around the fire pit and that’s the view!
Gosh is this beautiful!
Can’t wait for you to visit. I’m doing the garden tour this year…so much to do…again!
Wow! This is Paradise. Thanks for the inspiration!
π
What a perfect size! It’s such a beautiful garden, Stacey!
Thank you π Hugs
You made me smile and go ‘ahhh’ Such a lovely garden. Like you, I gardened in pots during my apartment-dwelling days. Have soil, will garden. π

Can you tell us what the name and brand of the paint on your home? Thanks!
I really enjoy following you.
