The garden is just beginning to wake up.
Today I searched for signs of life, fearful of what may not return after our long, harsh Winter.
Much to my delight…I saw the first bees of the season!

I always await the return of the bees anxiously. I saw a carpenter bee yesterday, but no honey bees yet..hopefully soon. Happy Easter!

Really? The bees are out. Spring, yes, spring.
I’ve been working in our orchard and hopefully when the trees start to bloom, it will be filled with bees. I have had a lot of damage to my rhododendrons this year and I think my climbing roses may have not made it. Hopefully your beautiful garden will be OK.
