Started from seed in the little greenhouse two years ago, the Columbine is blooming this morning.
On a dark rainy day, so nice to find these little blossoms. Tucked in next to the North sides of the greenhouse and Rabbit Run Cottage, they are among the first blossoms making an appearance in the garden.
Very pretty Stacey! I don’t know what it was, but mine used to get eaten down to a stem. My neighbours too. Nothing around them would get munched, just the Columbine. I had a salmon coloured one that was so pretty, then it’d be gone 😦
So pretty – how satisfying to bring such beauty into being (with a little help from Nature, of course!)
One of my favorites
