Who carefully carved their initials into the wooden handle?
I know how attached I get to certain garden tools.
Perhaps I should leave my initials on my tools for some future gardener to wonder.

I love old stuff like this. I have my great-grandfather’s spade that he made himself- he was a blacksmith and a keen gardener. You should definitely carve your initials on there too, start a tradition 🙂
