My youngest, now 21, when she was little would exclaim, “Look! I found a friend!” whenever she would find a bug. That summer we went camping in South Dakota. She never made so many friends as she did the day we set up camp. While we were erecting tents and setting out cooking utensils, she was running around, “Look! A friend! Look! I found another friend!” over and over. Your post reminded me. 🙂
