One of my favorite quotes…with one of my favorite birdies. My latest post has Mr. Wren in it too (I’m guessing that’s what yours is). Patience is a great thing to have indeed.
How I love those chattery little House Wrens! 14 below zero this morning in the garden! Not nice!
Just turned colder here last night, though not like yours — only in the 40’s. Benefits to being on the coast. Hope you warm up soon. Cheers!
What a great shot!
After his rescue from the greenhouse, he sat on my hand, catching his breath. Was able to sneak this shot with my cell phone! He must have stayed in my hand for 5 mins. I was able to gently stroke his little soft feathers. It was one of those magical garden moments.
That’s so special. I bet his heart was beating like the dickens.
sigh, a photo like that needs only this quote…
Glad it spoke to you too!
How very sweet! I love this Emerson quote and who wouldn’t love this little creature!
This little chattery wrens are my favorite!
Gasp, I read your message to plum dirt. How very sweet and special. I’m so glad you were able to help and had your lengthy connection. My gosh, that must have been amazing. Is this little wren wearing an ankle bracelet?
It was so fun to hold him! That’s my ring shining!
Oh yah, now I see…your ring 😀
