The weather has been colder and wetter then normal!
Sunshine has been very scarce and I’m behind in the garden chores.

Yep, it’s been the same here in Michigan, though we did have a couple of warm days this week. Windy, cold and wet today.
We had a few flurries this am! I’m not ready!
We, too, are wetter than normal. Grey, drizzly days are what I moved away from fifteen years ago. I do not miss them nor need them back, thank you very much.
I spent the day in the garden yesterday and enjoyed the sun and it’s return! So much to still get done before the snow makes a real run at us!
Slow down, Snow. There’s time enough for you soon.
Is that a Japanese maple, or do my eyes deceive me? We have had one in every garden we’ve had, including our most recent past one — the brick bungalow. That thing was ginormous + beautiful! One day, as we drove past, G.O. noticed that it was gone! Oh, no! The new owners had cut it down! He was positively heart sick about it, + so was I! Anyway, sorry for the sad story. People, sometimes!
