Garden Clean Up
I have fallen behind in garden clean up.
Weather has not been cooperative.
Garden chairs are tucked safely into Rabbit Run Cottage, and I drained the rain barrel.
So much more to do!

Rosie even got a glow necklace for the party!

Halloween Fun
Our annual Halloween Party took place this weekend.
Gunny sack races, bobbing for apples, bon fire, and after dark a haunted walk through the woods.
Screams, laughs and increased heart rates!
Nature Walk
A quick walk through the woods to enjoy the morning sunshine and calm winds.
What interesting things become visible as the leaves drop.
October will leave us soon. It went far to quickly.
Snuggle Weather

Seed storage
We had our first official frost last night in the garden.
The cold is a wake up call to move at a faster pace around the garden.
I still have so much to do before the garden is put to bed.
Today I will organize my heirloom tomato seeds, while I wait for the temperature to warm a bit.
I have considered offering some of my favorite Heirloom Tomato seeds on my Etsy shop.
Would love some feedback from all of my garden friends–
Autumn in darker shades
I still will stop and gather pretty leaves while out walking around the garden.
I even tucked a few into some pages of a book to press–perhaps for a future little project.
Save those seeds
I have several of these little vintage tins.
They make great storage for saved seeds.
Label your seeds with the variety and date harvested.
Store in a cool, dry location.
