Seed Saving

I gathered a few seeds from the Chives.

Dry throughly, place in envelope and label.

The last of the carrots are pulled from the garden.

The Celosia has dried in the greenhouse.

It is much more muted now, in the Autumn sunlight. A bright memory of the Summer, in The Pickery.

Some weathered pots stacked outside the greenhouse.

There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots

may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on feelings, as now October.

Indian Summer has passed.

The morning sunrise is later, and sunset comes so quickly now.

The garden tools are cleaned up and ready for storage.

Lined up and ready for next Spring.
