I absolutely loved this house with it’s wrap around porch that I spied while on vacation in Maine this past summer.
The simplicity of multiple pots of Eucalyptus lined up on the edge of the porch stopped me in my tracks.
The plants gently swayed in the breeze that was bringing in salty air from the water.
An inspiration for my own garden this summer.
Where do you find garden inspiration?
The days have been hot and steamy around the garden. The Swallowtail Butterfly have been fluttering around all the flowers that have finally popped in the garden.
When the world wearies and society fails to satisfy, there is always the garden.

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
Always fun to see these woodland flowers among the pines.
The Cosmos are winding out of their pots.
I think they are looking for Spring.
With more cool weather expected,
it’s safer in the greenhouse.
5 years ago I started this blog to share the story of my little garden.
From seed to harvest and each lovely step in between.
Thank you to all who stop by to visit, leave lovely comments or choose to follow along.
And then get to work on all the garden chores!
The garden work is plentiful this month with flowers to dead head, weeds to keep at bay,
and the vegetable garden to tend.
Just what the garden has been waiting for!
The flowers were just waiting for the warm up to show their flowers.
It’s going to be a colorful week here in the little garden.
Nasturtium is one of my favorite flowers.
The entire plant is edible! Add them to your fresh salad for a little peppery zip.
Now I just need some tasty heirloom tomatoes….come on garden!
