It’s Nice To Be Invited

It's Nice To Be Invited

I was invited to write a blog post for Gardening Know How!

The Editors let me choose the topic of my choice and I wanted to keep the post true to how I write here.

Garden images and a few words.

A story about how I became the caretaker to these garden trugs.

If you care to leave a comment after you read the story it would be appreciated.

Touches Of Autumn

Touches Of Autumn

I’m not ready to bring out the pumpkins but September needs a little touch of something.

I’m working on this wreath.

A grapevine wreath that I started in the spring and some Hops vines that I’m trimming.

Looks like a good start.

See those pesky moths in the greenhouse?

More moths than I have ever seen out here.

I miss my ducks and chickens, they would have loved the snacking.

Smitten

Smitten

I used Ammi or False Queen Anne’s Lace

in my daughter’s bridal flowers this summer.

The delicate flower is on my list to grow next year.

The variety is called Dara.

It was a wonderful cut flower with beautiful shades of cream to chocolate.

This flower is actually an ornamental carrot!

Never Far From Garden

Back To The Blog

It was never my intention to take a ‘blogging break’ this summer,

though this is exactly what happened.

September is my favorite month for many reasons,

and I’m happy to be back sharing garden inspiration!

This wall of garden pots certainly inspires me to organize the potting shed.

Every corner of Terrain At Styers in Glenn Mill, PA was beautifully displayed.

Vacation Pictures

Mossy Roof

I was sure you wanted to see more vacation images!

The Mushroom House at Terrain at Styer’s in Glenn Mills PA.

This garden center did not disappoint with so much to look at, shop for.

Even a Cafe to have a coffee or brunch on a beautiful Sunday morning.

And then get to work on all the garden chores!

The garden work is plentiful this month with flowers to dead head, weeds to keep at bay,

and the vegetable garden to tend.
