Rabbit Run Cottage

Rabbit Run Cottage

My garden office.
Rabbit Run Cottage is a perfect spot to start the morning or rest after a long day in the garden.
A constant evolution of “treasures” can be found in the little garden shed.
Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s very neat and tidy.
Lucy has discovered the WiFi signal is good out here, and watches her favorite shows on her laptop.
Garden kitties love to nap in the loft when the afternoon Sun is too warm.
What little treasures can you spy inside?

A Red Door

A Red Door

Rabbit Run Cottage has made a few changes as it grows older.
Haven’t we all?!!!
I still remember Lucy, 6 years old, going in and out of the little door, cut just for her size.
I painted that door 3 times, until I got the red I loved.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found

While cleaning up flower beds this Spring, it was clear my beautiful Butterfly Bush’s had not survived the Winter.
Last Fall I had planted just a few Liatris that I had started in the greenhouse. They have filled in the empty gaps and are going to be stunning in a few days….I love the purple against the grey-green colors of Rabbit Run Cottage.
Notice anything else? That hole in the porch post is missing it’s Flag. Lost in the storm.
Check back in the garden in a few days if you love purple!
