Heirloom tomatoes February 9, 2012Categories Uncategorizedgardening, greenhouse, heirloom tomatoes2 Comments on Heirloom tomatoes I’m not going to say how many seeds I ordered. Let’s just say more than last year. I have been bitten by the heirloom bug. The colors, shapes, and flavor–oh my. And I love the stories behind the heirlooms. ripening in the greenhouse Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading... You won’t be disappointed…and I’m sure you can find homes for the extra seedlings with your neighbors!
The names, colours and stories just make them so appealing. The one thing that stops me (a little) is the fact that some of the larger ones don’t do well for me (our lousy summers!), so it discounts a few, but never enough!
