YAY, RAIN! We got about 6 drops this morning…long as the sun stays behind the clouds, it won’t get too steamy.
Our Rudbeckia just started to open, too…must be the Middle of Summer! ๐
It was very scattered here–but this time it fell over us! Cloud cover helps–stay cool! So much is all ready done blooming in the garden, glad I transplanted all these rudbeckia’s to the front of the garden. ๐ Have a great weekend.
I had time to clean up some out of control shrubs yesterday without having to spend the day dragging hose and setting up sprinklers. The heat remains though and it is really making life tough this year in the garden! ๐
Can’t believe what a difference the rain made. But we are hot and drying fast with not much more chance of rain.
It is a challenging year for the the garden, for sure. The perennials are past peak, and not holding flowers very long. ๐

Lucky you! Glad to hear that you got a good rain.
So glad I don’t have to drag the hose around today!
Good to see your plants got a bit of a drink. Still drowning in the stuff here. Your veg garden is incredible. I’m very envious. ๐
To much rain is so hard also–happy medium seems hard to come by this growing year! ๐
Such a pretty garden! A real rainfall just does wonders that it seems to me hand-watering can’t provide.
So true!
Ooh, I’d give anything for rain right now. No hose or watering cans for a day or two would be heaven! ๐
