The heart of an authentic gardener if you’re already contemplating next season’s crop.
I went shopping in my brother’s garden food stash this past weekend and came home with dill pickles, salsa and tomato juice. Am I a lucky sister, or what?
I think the time in the greenhouse, with Winter still surrounding us–is my favorite!
I’ve already got lists going, eep!
I garden on paper all Winter long!
That will keep you going through the winter:)
I love the planning part of gardening…..time to soak up the seed catalogs, I make list after list in my notebooks….:)
I too already have a list of what I plan to plant next year. I keep it close to me in my phone so I can add to it whenever the newest idea strikes.
🙂
I have been thunking about planting more lilac and maybe another tree 🙂
So dry here that no Fall tree planting taking place…still watering to try to make sure I don’t lose my trees, shrubs, etc.
We recently had to dig a few holes for posts (horse fence), there is nothing but moisture at all in the soil.
Ha!!! I’m just about to sow next years Broad Beans, after that it will be the garlic……. so I really shouldn’t laugh at you 🙂
No Fall crops for me to plant this year….garlic just doesn’t do well for me. Happy planting.
Next year? I’m not done with this one…garlic still has to go in!
I *do* have a list of plant again/never repeat… 🙂
I’m not doing garlic this year….and my list of “not growing next year”…is growing–ha! I’m going to plant a very basic kitchen garden next year.
