Your creativity never ceases to impress me. And where did you find that costume and what is its vintage?
Happy Halloween Audrey! The costume I found about 10 years ago at a sale…it has the original box and the fabric mask. We believe it dates to the late 40’s. It’s probably my favorite Halloween decoration. The fabric is quite delicate, so I only get it out on Halloween and enjoy it for the day and evening. And sigh…the one thing I truly miss about living in town–is handing out candy to the trick or treaters on Halloween!
That costume is amazing. Happy Halloween.
A treasure for sure….glad to share it with everyone.
What a clever thing to do! I love the idea and it never would have occurred to me to hang an old costume as decoration! I’ve seen them at thrift stores and walked on by! 😦
Thank you!
This is so cute.. just waiting for our trick or treaters now!
Thank you….ahh I miss the trick or treaters!
I would not have guessed the costume is from the 40s. What a find.
