MN is “The State of Hockey”! Zak has been skating since he was 3 yrs old.
This marks the time of year we spend quite a bit of time inside hockey arenas. My husband actually was coached by Eric Strobel (from the 1981 Olympic USA hockey team) as a young hockey player. 🙂

Our lake in town is still open water, a little ice around the edge…but that is it.
I used to watch a lot of hockey, I first became interested the year the USA won the Olympics. Lately all I seem to watch is the Stanley Cup.

That’s amazing, what a story and memory for your husband to have. Here wrestling seems to be the thing, after that soccer in PA
Must be hard, with the NHL lockout…my poor son-in-law is suffering 😉
Lot’s of sad people–No NHL….luckily we have college hockey to watch!
