Yum. Who knew broccoli could photograph so beautifully?
Truthfully, I have never grown broccoli till last Summer…it did take up a lot of garden space, and frankly it was “stinky”! I grew tired of it..then when harvest time came, and we got to eat the home grown broccoli– it was very tasty. I’m going to try some of the purple broccoli this year. That should make a pretty picture. 🙂
I have to say, it took up a lot of space in the garden, for the amount of broccoli it produced–but it sure was fun to try–if you can stand the “smell”. It was a bit stinky in the garden!
Karen, can you email me….I have some seeds for you!

From what I have heard, it takes a lot of luck to have a good crop of broccoli…at least in my part of the country.
