life in and around the garden
A greenhouse must be the only place in Minnesota where spring exists.
Truly! We did get quite a bit of melt yesterday–still more to go here!
We still have so much snow and ICE! I’m tired of the gradual melt–I want it gone!
I can’t believe I’m still wearing my down coat! Yuk!
Ready, set, go! Hey, how long from seed to harvest for Camomile? Doe you use it to make yourself tea?
This cell was planted around March 1, I will plant out early May–and I should have flowers by June. I just pluck them each day and dry in the greenhouse. I don’t plant enough to get a huge harvest, but enough to add to other teas–like mint!
I have started some seeds in my front window but am beginning to wonder if they will ever make it outside. I’m with you, I’m so tired of this winter.
I’m tired with you friend!
Happy Easter
Such lovely light…even if it IS reflected from the (ugh) snow outside…
Yep, that’s quite a bit of snow back there! The good thing is the grove was so dry the last two years, that the trees are struggling…at least the moisture should help them this year!
I’m TRYING to be positive!
