I have been seeing these all over town and was going to look them up tonight. So glad I stopped by first. I want these in my yard!
They come in a few color combinations, look for Viola (not Pansy)!

Didn’t know these self-seeded. Nice.
They spread, which I love, but if you need to contain them cut them back when the flowers start to fade!
We had some the other year whose seed blew into the cracks on the concrete pathway next to the house and path.. they still grew into their beautiful selves 🙂

I’ve never grown them from seed! In fact, it’s been years since I’ve had them in my garden. They are so sweet! 🙂
I started these in the greenhouse, but I think they would do just as well sprinkled out in the garden!
I am growing Pansy’s for the first time in the greenhouse.
They germinated very well, and now I’m sitting pricking out those little seedlings and dividing into 6-pak cells.
I hope I have lots of pretty flowers for a shady spot this Summer. I have some of the Black Pansy’s started too. They should be fun to photograph.
