life in and around the garden
When I saw the title of your post I immediately found myself smiling and clicking to see how the greenhouse looked now that winter is gone. I didn’t grow up where any one I knew had one, but I have always been drawn to them. Oh and your picture didn’t disappoint๐
:), Thank you so much, I too didn’t know anyone who had there own greenhouse. Then ended up as a floral designer (by accident!), and floral shops go with garden centers.
I loved every second I spent around the bedding plants, soil, pots etc.
I knew I wanted to have my own little space someday!
Everything is looking great so far! We’re sure enjoying the beautiful landscapes in San Jose. Everyone seems to have the perfect yard and garden. I imagine gardening 12 months out of the year takes some stamina. It’d sure be fun to try for a while because it’s so gorgeous and green here
I dream of moving up a zone someday!
Looks like lots of digging ahead of you. But what a joy to finally have spring and be able to even consider planting.
We couldn’t wait any longer–put in some plants today!
Looking good! ๐
A bit slow on many of the plants, but as usual, I think they will catch up!
I’m so glad to see the inside of the greenhouse. Your workshop is lovely! You are so organized…I can’t let you see mine. Not yet anyway…you inspire me! ๐
Now, I have to be honest, it does get messy, but then I tidy a bit! Now, the house stuff is suffering these nice days for sure!
Show me yours–when your ready…remember, you can always “crop” the photo!
a wonderful sight
It’s been a tough Winter…mentally and physically! Getting old I guess!, but so good for the sun, warmth and digging in the dirt to get me on the mend. ๐
What a great greenhouse. Mine is much smaller and more homely, but I still have lots of fun with it.
If it shelters the plants, it’s purpose is beautiful! ๐
My wordpress reader thought I’d like your blog. Now I see why ๐ Gorgeous pics and I love watching all your plants. I wanted a greenhouse this spring, but I didn’t get around to figuring out what I really needed until it was too late to be much use. Perhaps I’ll watch you and figure it out for next year ๐
Thank you so much for stopping by the garden, and your very kind comments!
It took a long time to get this little greenhouse from my wish list, to an actual little piece of soil.
I wish a greenhouse for you, to tend plants and putter in! ๐
Stacey
Hey! I can see the ground outside your greenhouse! ๐
Hope you get to plant soon…we’re still in the low 40’s at night, so all of mine are still under the lights…
Couldn’t help ourselves, starting planting today!!! Worse case, I have a few back ups in the greenhouse!
