Dreary, damp days have produced fascinating mushrooms.
Little treasures that I keep an eye out for while walking around the garden and woods.

the soft underside of mushrooms never fails to delight me – beautiful to see it from this angle.
Thank you Claire

So interesting, I knew they were good for you, but not all the facts. Thank you so much!
glad you liked reading my post! Thanks so much for the comment.
Love shots like this 🙂
🙂
Thank you. 🙂
Are any of them edible?
I don’t think so….I would be afraid to eat any, after a scary movie I saw when I was a kid! Poison mushrooms!!!
Those gills are so perfect…I am drawn right into this photo!
I know, how pretty it was! I have always loved finding little mushrooms–even as a kid!
How gorgeous! You really captured something extraordinary!
Thank you!
Yes, I am waiting for the rain to stop so I can see how many are sprouting here. Unfortunately I don’t know enough about mushrooms to know which are safe, or for that matter the difference between toadstools and mushrooms. You did an amazing job photographing this one.
Thank you, hope your find some interesting things!
Oh, who knew it was so pretty under there? We are basking at 0 C today but by Saturday
– 6 C, so no mushrooms to be found here. Thanks for sharing your sweet find!
I know!! It looked like beautiful pleats!
