life in and around the garden
My favorite flowers.
Mine too!
Now that picture has a summery feel to it..needed that right now! Inching closer to seeding time!
Checking the bulbs this week on the grow light rack!
That cold hit me hard this morning out doing critter chores! The sun helps but brrrrrr!
They are gorgeous! What a lovely shot. ๐
OMgosh, what a beautiful scene. I worked at a greenhouse over 3 summers and spent a lot of time rescuing butterflies that came in to our domed hothouse at the vision of colourful blooms but then couldn’t find their way out. What are you growing there? Monarda?
Zinnias – adult monarchs love them!
Oh yes, Zinnias ! Thanks Eliza, now I see. I must fill up a spot so the Monarchs feel like stopping here ๐
Don’t forget the milkweed plants, so they will lay eggs and make more monarchs! ๐
Zinnias, so easy to grow direct ground planting. Just push the seeds down into the soil. I love all the bright crayon colors. The Monarchs will come.
Doesn’t get any easier than that, HA. I’m smiling over Rosie in the garden pond right now in your Artful Gardening layout. So adorable ๐ xo
