I absolutely loved this house with it’s wrap around porch that I spied while on vacation in Maine this past summer.
The simplicity of multiple pots of Eucalyptus lined up on the edge of the porch stopped me in my tracks.
The plants gently swayed in the breeze that was bringing in salty air from the water.
An inspiration for my own garden this summer.
Where do you find garden inspiration?
I had the pleasure of visiting the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay Maine a few weeks ago. An amazing botanical garden that was packed with beauty in every square inch.
Among my many favorites was the Digitalis ferruginea that was clearly among the Bee’s favorites too!
Ruffled like a pretty dress

And that is my haiku poem for the day!
I recently visited Xel Ha, a natural ecological aquarium and tropical lagoon.
Located on the Caribbean Coast of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Xel Ha means ‘birthplace of water’ and we snorkeled and explored cenotes, caves, and lagoons fed by the ocean.
The day and experience left us in tired and in awe of the sights and beauty of this part of our world.
The end of the day finished with a stop at the plant nursery that supports their mission as an ecological park.
I look forward to sharing more of this special place that included an Apiary that houses melipona Bees, that are stingless.
