Despite a good spell of weather here at last it does feel distinctly autumnal. Chilly evenings and mornings make me think of preparing for winter and lighting the wood burner.
I’m having my tea too today, but indoors. It’s just too cold to be outside for long. But whether in the garden or indoors curled up in a blanket tea is soothing to me.
I paused on the way to the car yesterday to pick up a red maple leaf fallen upon the grass. That first leaf of autumn never ceases to impress me. Perhaps tomorrow I will see if it’s still there and photograph it.

We are having a fantastic week of sun and warmth, but the best way to stat the day no matter the weather is a cup of tea in the garden. No contest!
Gardens and tea go so well together! Cozy post! I am going to go grab a herbal tea since I had my caffeine one already… ~ Wendy
