The Celosia has been transformed into a holiday wreath.
Velvety shades of burgundy with a chartreuse satin ribbon.

I would not even have thought of this. Just gorgeous. Where do you come up with these constantly creative ideas?
As I watched the celosia dry out in the greenhouse, I kept thinking it looked like aged velvet…..I’ve know for weeks I was going to make a wreath with my last flowers from The Pickery. Lucy and I hung it in Rabbit Run Cottage!
Knew you’d find a way to use your Bumper Crop!
Looks wonderful. 🙂
And guess what? I know have 100 billion Celosia seeds! bwwaaahhh!!!!
Seriously–teeny, tiny black Celosia seeds—enough for every gardener!
I remember when you said you were going to dry them…your wreath is beautiful.
I was glad I did hang them to dry…wonder what the green ones look like dried?
