I have an old metal drawer that I keep mine in too, I just need to start keeping them better organised. I keep having to dig to get what I want out of the drawer..
At one of our local auctions! 🙂 I think I paid $4.00 for it!
Wait till I show you the awesome old metal storage bins I scored last week! They were stacked outside a business in Waseca…stopped in and chatted with the landlord, who gave me the owners number. Called him up and he sold them to me!
Now I know what your thinking…hoarder-for sure. But I am very good at passing things up. Things must have a purpose!
I really am a “less is more” person.
🙂
Four dollars! Are you kidding me? My sister once scored a Watts Ware bowl for a quarter at a Waseca garage sale. She had to dump the nails out of the bowl first. I’m with Rita. I need to start following you around town.
Lovely Stacey. I keep mine in old shoe boxes, but nice ones with cheerful and colourful designs. I have still yet to find the perfect place for them all!
What a great idea for seed storage! I love this. We have one bumbling around in our garage with nothing of use in it. I haven’t thought about using it for some of my gardening supplies and seeds…great protection, too!
I know, I love the old office–industrial stuff. Not to rub it in, but I have a 4 ft file box–double sided, with drawers that is this same vintage green (same auction). It holds all sorts of treasures.

I start out organized…then I start tossing things around!
Lovely. Where did you score a find like this?

Hi Claire! Nothing wrong with a box! They sell photo boxes around here (very inexpensive)–
those are perfect for seeds too!

Don’t you love when you see something and realize you have one!
I’d arm wrestle you for that cabinet in a heart beat..LOL I love old stuff. Old stuff that’s useful and functional…even better!

I’m vintage and green with envy…ha! Awesome score.
