The garden changes daily now.
Sunflowers, Bee Balm, Cone Flowers, Brown Eyed Susan flowers fill up the empty spaces.
The back drop of corn fields rustle with the wind.
Blue Jays are calling me to fill the bird feeders.
Rolling up my sleeves for a good day.

looking lush there …here it’s getting too dry and dull looking….waiting for the late summer flush.. 🙂
I have had to water quite a bit, as the local garden walk will take place Sun afternoon here. Trying to keep it pretty!
I think you are succeeding … 🙂
If I were a kitty, I’d love wandering through your garden, visiting the Bumble Bees and then I’d make my way to the open door and find a quiet, cool napping spot inside the cottage. I love how you painted on the inside of the door 😀 Just a vision of loveliness. Is that a whack of corn I see growing out back?
I can’t wait to see it Stacey! What a treat we have in store for us on Sunday.
Rita, You are always so sweet.
So sorry I have not had you out before–Life….
You will have to share with me all the other lovely gardens! Saw Fischer’s a few weeks ago (I rode with the Rochester Garden Club group after they left here) Even more stunning then I remembered from 7 yrs ago. I think the time zone changes over there, must be more than 24 hours in a day!
See you Sunday!
Stacey
The kitties do just that! Check out my Instagram!
And yes, field corn all around us! We are surrounded by farm fields. I love watching the fields first planted, then drying down in the fields and changing to golden tan. Harvest–not so much!! Dusty!
Don’t we just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE summer?! 🙂

What a great little spot! I also love the idea of the chalk paint on the door; very cool.
