Now this is my kind of Autumn weather!
I was able to spend an entire day out in the garden, trying to clean up spent perennials and even got a few bulbs planted. Sunshine has been very scarce and I had felt my mood began to darken along with the weather. The Burning Bush is like a big cup of coffee for my soul!

It has been glorious, hasn’t it? My hands and my back may beg to differ, but man did I soak it in the last two days!
Burning bushes are the BEST! We don’t have any in our current garden (but I’m not done yet!), but at our farmhouse on the river (my first garden project, ever), we had a hedge of them on our lot line. Note to self: drive by there next Fall to have an “admire”. 😉
