This “thing” was making it’s way across my garden table this afternoon.
I mean really, this “thing” is huge!
So I googled about this “thing”
and found out his name.
Wild Saturniid Silk Moth
Cecropia!
And then I remembered this visitor I had back in July.
Pumpkin!
Well, rain may be a stretch,
more like sprinkles.
Vintage garden basket,
well loved, and well used.
Enjoying the cool, sunny morning,
with a cup of hot tea.
Harvest continues…

And for us, you can’t beat the flavor!
The chickens like to help with the flower bed clean up.
