Predictions of a late Spring

Predictions of a late Spring

The local radio station informed me the prediction is for a late Spring….it doesn’t come as a shock.
I have just woken to -15 degrees in the garden.
This year, more than ever, I will be grateful for our season change.

A Snow Day

A Snow Day

Blizzard conditions persist through the day today…of coarse I have bundled up and buried my self in garden magazine, books, blogs and Pinterest images.
You won’t find Winter pictures here on Down To Earth Digs…I’m protesting!

The best red

The best red

A week of red would not be complete without some tasty tomatoes.
Heirloom Costoluto Genovese, as pretty as flowers!

Seeds available for this Heirloom in my little garden store

A Red Door

A Red Door

Rabbit Run Cottage has made a few changes as it grows older.
Haven’t we all?!!!
I still remember Lucy, 6 years old, going in and out of the little door, cut just for her size.
I painted that door 3 times, until I got the red I loved.
